Travis Griffin for Republican Precinct Chair
The Griffin Family

It is with disappointment, but a heart full of gratitude, that I let you know this race was once again lost by a remarkably small margin of 4 VOTES. It’s another important reminder that every single vote really does matter.

Some people wondered why I put so much effort into a Precinct Chairman race, and this is why. I know the precinct, and I knew the numbers, and I knew we needed to bring the full Griffin force to get to the goal line. My hope was to serve our neighborhood which we love and to help bring some harmony to the Williamson County Republican Party which is growing more divided each election cycle. I have served my entire adult life on mission to unite our Party, not divide it.

I’m proud we ran a clean campaign based on honesty, integrity, and unity despite a campaign environment plagued by factions, deception, and dishonesty.

For so many years, Williamson County was a bastion of conservatism and Republican voting within the Texas GOP. But due to the same kind of infighting and stagnation we are witnessing within our Republican Party in our state and across the nation, our Williamson County GOP has become weaker and weaker. I’m thankful for the service and leadership of outgoing Chairman Armbruster during this challenging time in politics and look forward to supporting Chairman Evans as she embarks on her new position. I pray that moving towards November, our Party locally and nationally will unify behind our candidates—focusing on our common goals of freedom, limited government, and conservative values—to provide the best lives possible for individuals and families.

That being said, my family and I had a blast! We have such amazing neighbors and friends around Leander, the state of Texas, and beyond. We are grateful for your support and encouragement and look forward to what the future holds.

We encourage you to stay involved and participate in your upcoming Republican Precinct Convention. For Williamson County, precinct conventions will take place this Saturday, March 9th and 10AM. For a full list of locations, visit http://www.williamsoncountygop.org/2024-precinct.... For Precinct #264, the location is Generations Church, 1461 E. Woodview Drive, Leander, TX, 78641.

Again, THANK YOU for your support. Have a great Spring Break... and onward to victory for our Republican candidates in November!
